# GPT-6.1 Terra reaches general availability on Amazon Bedrock

AWS rolled out full production access to the OpenAI model on 26 October 2026, with four supported access paths.

OpenAI GPT-6.1 Terra is now generally available on Amazon Bedrock, AWS announced 26 October.[^1]

Users may access the model through the Bedrock console, APIs, ChatGPT Work or Codex.[^2]
